[Hong Kong] SF Express - User Guide

Merchants in Hong Kong are able to execute shipments with SF Express (SF) for Hong Kong domestic parcels. SF can support door-to-door collection or self-delivery, and can provide home and self pick-up in the last mile.

SF introduction

SF aims to provide customers with one-stop integrated logistics solutions. Apart from high-quality logistics services at the distribution end, SF extends to the production, supply, sales, and distribution process of the front end in the value chain. Being customer-oriented, SF adopts big data analysis to provide one-stop integrated logistics services including warehousing management, sales forecasting and settlement management.

• Convenience store pickup is available.
• Providing Cash on Delivery, Shipment Protection Plus Service, Pickup Authorization Service and other value-added services.
• Remote areas: $0 surcharge

   • Small-sized Chain Stores & Individual Stores.（7-Eleven Convenience Stores, Circle K Convenience Stores and Shell Stations are excluded）

4.​​ Weight 

a. Calculation

• 1. Shipments up to 20kg are calculated in 0.5kg increments, weight in decimal kg will be rounded up to the nearest 0.5kg.
  2. Shipments over 20kg are calculated in 1kg increments, weight in decimal kg will be rounded up to the nearest 1kg.

b. Limitations

1. Door to door delivery: No restrictions yet, please refer to SF Rates
2. Self pick-up: 20kg or below*

*Note: Small-sized Chain Stores & Individual Stores‘ weight limitation may varies.

 

5. Formula used to calculate the volumetric weight (KG)

Mainland China, Macau and Taiwan: 

Length (CM) x Width (CM) x Height (CM) ÷ 6,000

 

 

Shipment process

Step 1: Create shipments

Click on the “+ Create Shipment” button on the top right of the [Shipment] page, choose to create “Point to Point order” or “Bulk Shipment”.

Step 2: Print out waybill and label parcel

Select shipment by click on the "square-box" on the left side of OneShip Order No., choose to "Print Label" or "Print Labels in Bulk".

Note: To ensure successful label scanning, please use "label machine and 100x150mm(4x6Inch) thermal label paper" or "A4 blank waybill" to print. If the label cannot be recognized when entering the warehouse, the product will be returned.

Step 3. Arrange SF Express collection 

Pick-up at doors

OneShip provides several time options when you choose “Pick-up at doors”, SF courier will pick it up at your site at the scheduled time.No need to call or send email to confirm the pick-up time.

Self-drop off to given location

Specified Send-out Time

• To-door address in industrial and commercial area#: Orders placed before 12:00 on Monday to Friday; and parcels successfully collected by SF staff before 1:00pm on the same day
• SF Business Station: Parcels successfully sent out before 12:30pm on Monday to Friday
• SF Store: Parcels successfully sent out before 12:00 on Monday to Friday
• Saturday, Sunday or Hong Kong public holidays excluded

No matter you are a prepaid (top-up) or postpaid account, the final shipping fee will be determined by SF Express.
