The USPS retains the largest physical and logistical infrastructure of any non-military government institution and is the only delivery service that reaches every address in the United States. Capitalizing on its expertise in scheduling and high-volume sorting, USPS serves a vital role enabling digital commerce. Service introduction USPS offers the following services through the OneShip platform to ship in the United States. Use strong packaging with enough room to add cushioning for fragile items and to prevent items from shifting. Use enough 2-inch-wide packing tape to close and secure all seams. (But please don’t wrap your box in string, cord, or twine, which gets caught in USPS sorting equipment.) If you’re reusing a box, make sure all old logos, barcodes, shipping labels, and addresses are covered or blacked out. Please refer to Tips for Measuring Packages to measure the size and weight of your package accurately so you can avoid unexpected fees. Self-drop off to given location You can drop off your parcels from USPS locations. Before you use drop off service please call USPS to make arrangements. Prohibited items Please refer to the List of Prohibited Items and note that delivery is NOT available for the items in the list. Do ensure that your parcels do not contain any of the items in list before shipping with USPS. Basic liability In the event of a lost or damaged shipment, where the courier is at fault, USPS provides compensation of a maximum amount of $100 per Parcel or the declared value of the Parcel, whichever is lower. However, it is not 100% likely that you will get compensation, as it depends on USPS's determination of liability. Lost shipment If you have not received your parcel but the parcel status is completed, please notify us within 30 days from the date of status completed. If USPS has already declared the item lost then we will proceed with compensation of the item.You should provide us with the document list below. (i) Description of goods (Product Type,Product Name,Product name) (ii) USPS confirmation report (provided by USPS after you submit a lost search to a nearby USPS location) (iii) Commercial Invoice Damage shipment If your parcel is damaged, please kindly notify our team at cs@oneship.io or on Live Chat within 30 days from the date the item has been received. You should provide us with the document list below to help us further investigate this case. (i) Description of goods (Product Type,Product Name,Product name) (ii) Photos of the damaged contents and packaging (including inside and outside) (iii) Commercial Invoice Pricing Parcel weight will be determined by either actual or Dimensional(DIM) weight, whichever is higher. DIM Weight Formula (kg) = (Height x Width x Length) cm / 6000. The shipping fee will be charged based on parcel weight after USPS measures the actual and dimensional weight in their distribution center. Special rates apply to shipments to military post offices (APO/FPO/DPO) or overseas U.S. territories. Please refer to Charging Rules on Designated Destination.
