Prepare your packagingPrepare your package according to FedEx standards : Use strong packaging with enough space for cushioning to protect fragile items and prevent shifting. Put at least six strips of shipping tape that is at least 2" wide evenly across all flaps and seams, top and bottom. When reusing boxes, remove all old labels and make sure it’s high quality with no holes, tears, or dents. Refer to FedEx's HOW TO PACK A BOX guideline to learn how to pack correctly. B. Self-drop off to given locationYou can drop off your parcels from FedEx locations. Before you use drop off service please call FedEx to make arrangements. C.Prohibited itemsPlease refer to the List of Prohibited Items and note that delivery is NOT available for the items in the list. Do ensure that your parcels do not contain any of the items in list before shipping with FedEx. Basic liabilityA. Lost and damaged shipmentsFedEx provides basic liability coverage for lost or damaged shipments. The coverage amount depends on the shipping service used: FedEx Ground Economy: Coverage up to $100 USD FedEx Ground: Coverage up to $100 USD If your FedEx shipment sent via OneShip is lost or damaged, you are advised to file a claim with FedEx within 7 to 30 days of the shipping date. Please note that submitting a claim does not guarantee compensation.Note: Shipments sent using FedEx Ground Economy service that are lost or damaged while in FedEx custody or marked as delivered on the carrier's tracking website are not eligible for a claim. B. Late shipmentsIf your FedEx shipment is late, and you want to track the package and file a claim, you need to submit your claim request with FedEx within 12 days of the shipping date, the date which the package was dropped off with FedEx.Note: Shipments sent using FedEx Ground Economy aren't eligible to be filed for a late claim.
