Store Settings December 19, 2024 09:09 Updated Store settings allow you to efficiently categorize and manage your store orders, streamlining the order preparation process. This article covers:01 Set rules for orders * Display name * Default sender address * COD service * Default shipping service * Archive orders * Trigger store notification emails02 Manually manage orders in batches 01 Set rules for orders Navigate to Settings -> Your Stores, click Store Settings, jump to the Order Sync section and click Edit to start configuring basic settings. Display name (optional) Give your store a special name to differentiate it. The display name is only shown in OneShip Admin Panel. Default sender address It is easy to find the exact sender address when each store's location is different. Please follow the steps below to complete the setup: Click Set sender address. Select a sender address in your address book or add a new address. Click Confirm to add the default sender address. Click Save to enable the settings. COD service Setting whether COD service is required in advance will affect the available shipping services. It is recommended to select Default settings(Default COD settings are based on the order payment status. Unpaid orders will use COD, while paid orders will use non-COD). Do not forget to click Save to enable the settings. Note: You can manually change "Cash on delivery" (Yes/No) before executing shipments. For detailed information, please refer to Precautions for Non-COD shipment execution. Default shipping service You can configure different shipping services for orders with different recipient regions, delivery options, and COD requirements to achieve quick shipments. Please follow the steps below to complete the setup: Click Set up shipping service. Select the recipient regions, delivery option and COD requirement. Book your preferred shipping service among the available shipping options. Click Confirm to add a rule. Click Save to enable the settings. Note: You cannot set multiple rules for the same conditions (same recipient regions, same delivery options, and same COD requirements). You can configure different shipping services for orders with different conditions.Additionally, shipping rules are a good option if you want to configure default shipping services or other actions for orders with multiple conditions. For SHOPLINE merchants, this default shipping service preferences only are available for the orders with [Custom Delivery Options] and not affect the orders with [Integrated Logistics Options or SHOPLINE Logistics]. Archive orders Collate orders with Canceled,Closed and Completed status into the Archive section to avoid duplicate shipments and reduce misoperations. Please follow the steps below to complete the setup: Click Archive order settings. Select the status you want to archive. Click Completed to confirm the settings. Click Save to enable the settings. Trigger store notification emails Notification emails sent by your stores are more convincing to your customers and better increase brand exposure. With this feature, when OneShip shipment status is updated, your store order status will be updated accordingly, and store notification emails will be triggered. Please follow the steps below to complete the setup: Click Order status synchronize; Select the delivery status that needs to be synchronized to the store; Select the delivery status that needs to trigger the store to send notifications; Click Completed to confirm the settings; Click Save to enable the settings. Newly synchronized orders will be automatically matched to specific rules as long as they meet the conditions. 02 Manually manage orders in batches Store settings only take effect for newly synchronized orders. Orders synchronized before setting need to be set manually. Please follow the steps to set up manually in batches: Go to Shipments -> Orders.
