How does OneShip charge shipping fees?

You can use OneShip shipping accounts or your own shipping account to send parcels. When you use a OneShip shipping account, you need to pay shipping costs to OneShip, and the payment process depends on the type of OneShip account you have.This article explains how and when OneShip charges the shipping fees for prepaid and postpaid accounts.

01 Ship via OneShip shipping account

Prepaid account

Make sure you have sufficient amounts in your OneShip wallet before executing shipments.

  1. Calculate the estimated shipping fee based on the weight and dimensions of the shipment.
  2. Deduct the shipping fee from your OneShip wallet when creating the shipment.
  3. Additional shipping fee will be deducted when the actual shipping fee is higher than the estimated shipping fee.

Notes：

  • The shipping fee will be charged based on parcel weight after the carriers measure the actual weight in their distribution center.
  • Parcel weight will be determined by either actual or volumetric weight (VW) or whichever is higher.Volumetric Weight formula varies in carriers.
  • You can view transaction records (deductions, corrections, refunds, etc.) in the OneShip wallet. More details please refer to How to manage OneShip wallet？

 

Postpaid account

At the beginning of each month, OneShip will issue bills and send invoices to you in the name of SHOPLINE via your email. You should follow the guidance in the email and transfer shipping fee to the specified bank account. Please pay your bill promptly, otherwise your OneShip account will be frozen.

Bill issue and remittance date or frequency, please refer to the following:

Region Bills issuing
Malaysia In the mid of next month
Singapore At the end of the month
 

Notes：

  • The bills and invoices will be issued separately according to the carriers of each region.

02 Ship via your own shipping account

You need to settle with your partnered carriers.
