This article explains how to create shipments in bulk to improve your fulfillment efficiency. If you wish to create a single shipment, please refer to: How do I book for a single shipment?

You can create shipment in bulk by the following methods:

01 Bulk execute shipments for sales orders

Once the store authorization is completed, the sales orders will be automatically synchronized to OneShip's Order Management. You can create shipments for the orders without manually entering the shipment information.

Step 1: Set up sender address and shipping service in bulk

1. Navigate to Shipments > Orders > Pending.
2. Select the orders and click Set up sender address to set the shipping address for the selected orders.
3. Click Set shipping service to set the service products for the selected orders;
4. Click Bulk Execute Shipments to enter the Shipments Edit Page.

Step 2: Edit order information

When the order information is lacking or incorrect, the order will be assigned to Invalid order folder. Please supplement or revise the information, then submit it again.

1. Enter Invalid order folder, click the exclamation mark icon in front of the order number to view the error.
2. Click the editor icon on the far right to enter the order details page to modify the order information
3. Click Save, the invalid order will jump to the Valid order folder.

Step 3: Submit the valid orders to create shipments

In Valid order folder, click Ship to create shipments in bulk, or click Save to ship next time.

Notes

1. The batch operation function will act on all the selected orders, which means that all the selected orders will apply the same information. For example, when you set the delivery address in batches, the selected order will be configured to be configured with the same sender address. If you need to set different sender addresses for each order, you should enter the order details page to modify the information one by one.

You can perform the following batch operations:

• Set up sender address
• Set up shipping service product / modify order information
• Modify parcel & product information

2. Any invalid order will be skipped when bulk executing shipments. To reduce the invalid orders, it is recommended to set the default sender address and shipping service in advance.

You can refer to Address Book or Store Settings to set the default address.

02 Manually create shipments in bulk

You can manually create shipments if you do not have any stores.

1. Navigate to Shipments > Orders.
2. Click +Create Order> Bulk Create Orders in the upper right corner to enter the Bulk Create Orders page.

Step 1: Fill in the sender address

You can manually fill in the sender address, or select the address in the Address Book as the sender address.

Step 2: Select the shipping service

Click book a service from carriers, select shipping service and pickup method.

Please note that the same batch of orders can only be shipped with the same shipping service.

Step 3: Upload the orders and execute the shipments

1. Click Download template, and fill in the order information according to the prompts in the template.
2. Save the document into a CSV format and upload it to the designated area.
3. Click Ship to create shipments in bulk.

Notes

1. The yellow cells in the template are required fields.
2. The same document may not apply to different carriers, because they have different requirements for order information.
3. Please download the latest template in time, the template will be updated at any time.
4. Please re-upload the document after revising the information according to the error.
